And speaking of the Romans, do not forget the Greeks whose army of mostly queers, defeated the Persians. 

There is also some reason to believe that the Greeks were some of the original Jews from Egypt who left before Moses came.  But that is just rumor.

This reminds me of a comment made by Wolfgang Pauli, who, when watching a particularly egregious bit stupid being presented as science, commented to a friend:  "This isn't even wrong"

I hear this argument company times that somehow Christian views of sexuality saved the world and that freedom of sexuality was.ancient worlds destruction. How do you explain the fact that Rome existed in it pagan sexual amorality for nearly 800 years but after empower Constantine's conversion to Christianity and the decline of paganism Rome existed for little more than 200 years? There of course examples of American immorality such as the prevelance of brothels and the accepted practice of having mistresses by our natures leaders including Andrew jacksons fathering of children by his slaves. Could it be that these things didn't exist or that the Christians just turned a blind eye to it?
