 You  are  a  clueless.....  fish.

The Swiss   do  not  indoctrinate   their   mini -minions  with  hate and  suspicion  towards   VETERANS. It  you  had   done  more  than  a  knee jerk  reaction  and  read   up  the  the  further  details  of  this (outside  the  dummy  down  box)you  would  realize    this  is  the  same  climate  Hitler  had  helping him... Deniers  defending  jack boot tactics. ....

Abdicate   from  your self-inflicted  Kool Aid  coma , please  before it is  too late !

Excuse me, but I know of another country which trains kids in target and defensive shooting from an early age.  This country insists that all its citizens join the army on graduating high school, trains them for two years and then sends them home -- with their military firearms, and ammo, and insists that they continue to qualify on the target range every year thereafter.  This country puts virtually all its citizens in the military reserves, and expects them to serve as such until retirement age.

 This country is Switzerland.

How many tyrannies has Switzerland imposed on the world in the last few centuries?

No, I don't think the problem is training kids in defensive shooting, police techniques, or even military tactics -- or else we should ban high-school ROTC.  The problem is not in the tools or even the training, but in how they are to be used.  Arab terrorists too train children from an early age to be "soldiers for Allah", but they *don't teach their children to think for themselves*.  We do.  That makes all the difference in the world.

I, like many went through all that scouting had to offer with Cub's, Webelos and Boy Scouts as we learned survival skills, self discipline and a host of many other useful qualities that seem to be lacking in much of today's youth. With my NRA training and a wise, countryman father (thank you, John Birch Society!) who for saw so much of the United States self destructive policies and self efficacy of evil, crooked politics,  I was fortunate beyond measure, and fairly well prepared!

There is nothing fake about placing a child in a real-world combat scenario with hardware / tactics and teaching them about how to take out 'bad guys'. At least one program for today's Explorer Scout training is in fact developing children into killing machines. Coupled with Obama's rising militant 'Youth Corps' and the pending fall of the U.S. monetary system I see bad JuJu on the horizon for this countries patriot and / or anyone else who might not comply with the obvious clenching of this governments death-grip on our rights and civil liberties.

All that's missing now is the "problem-reaction-solution" game and some live ammunition for these kids to light this roman candle from straight from hell and turn this land inside out.

Please get a clue. There is no honor in NOT facing the fear of what is happening to this America; and hiding behind the notion that "things might get better" or that "the times aren't as bad as we think" only proves one's fear of looking straight into the eyes of our own death as a nation.

I was a police explorer for 3 years in Washington State from about 1997-99. Back when I was an explorer, we didn't have fake Ar-15's.  This program is nothing new.  It has been in operation for probably 20 years or more.   I don't know about the whole domestic terrorist and illegal chasing.  That seems like a bit of an exageration.  It's basically all about "Exploring" the career of law enforcement.  It was actually pretty fun being a pirate.  As an explorer you can go on full shift ride-alongs with officers.  I was an explorer in Tukwila, WA.   Not the best neighborhood in the world, so there was always a lot of action.  Pretty good time for a teenager.  Anyhow, these explorers participate in statewide and nationwide competitions in things like traffic stops, building searches, domestic violence, you know all the cop scenarios.  Myself, I won 2nd place in traffic stops, and 1st place in Report writing for Washington state.   Anyhow, in my estimation of riding along with various officers at 16 to 17 years old, I felt that the good to bad cop ratio was about 50% - 50%.  The point is that it is very possible that these explorers are being taught methods by their local chapters that are more rogue or lawless.  However, my experience was that the "advisors" or cops who led the organization were very proffessional, and it was a good group for young teenagers to be involved with.  It teaches kids some leadership skills, and gets kids involved.  It's not like they're giving kids AR-15's to patrol neighborhoods !  They may be slightly more trained in police scenarios than the average person, but it's not like they're master marksmen.

Could Arming Explorer Scouts be a prelude to a Civilian National Security Force?

Obama's in July 2008 proposed a “Volunteer Civilian National Security Force.” It was never clarified what Obama meant when he stated in July 2008: "We cannot continue to rely on our military to achieve the national security objectives we've set. We've got to have a civilian national security force that's just as powerful, just as strong, just as well funded.”

Historical note: Germany under Hitler during hard economic times established volunteer "Civilian National Security Patrols" to help Citizens and to protect the Homeland. But soon after the patrols were setup, the volunteers were transformed into a neighborhood Political Enforcement and Informant Arm” of German Secret Police.

How would a federal “Volunteer Civilian National Security Force” including perhaps Scout Explorers interface with State, Local and Federal police? Would Obama a Civilian Force have access to U.S. Citizens' private records? Could Constitutional rights including the Fourth Amendment be discarded, allowing “Civilian Security Forces” to search Americans and their homes? Could Americans lose their right to bear arms? The Nazis used Civilian Forces with the Gestapo to confiscate private arms, arrest Germans and seize their private property, often moving into Citizens’ homes. Could Obama subsequently employ U.S. private mercenaries now overseas that are civilians to work with a "Civilian National Security Force" in U.S. Cities?

Children are so moldable: Never underestimate influence political leaders and schoolteachers can have on children put in their trust. When teachers violate that trust, they should legally be held accountable. U.S. schoolteachers now instruct their youngest pupils to sing songs about him. Robin Hood he is not, but he does take money from Citizens to give it to others. His name is Obama. Throughout history government leaders and schoolteachers have for good and bad politically influenced children. The Roman Empire believed teaching young children pro-Roman songs in countries they invaded would gain their support later as adults, furthering Roman psychological and military control. In Stalin’s Russia, teachers pursued children in grades 1-5 to join the communist youth organization “Red Pioneers.” Stalin called the nation’s youngest students Octobrists" referencing the October 1917 Bolshevik Revolution. Communist high school administrators relentlessly ensured that student associations with teachers merged State interests, e.g., collectivism. The most indoctrinated students after completing grade 12 were chosen by Moscow to enter the Communist Party to enforce State laws, mainly Collectivism-that all Citizens shared the benefits of their hard work and material goods with the masses.
