1 Comments in Response to Jason Pontin: Can technology solve our big problems?
It IS possible that technology could solve some of our largest problems. Unfortunately, we don't understand what our largest problems are. Why not? Because we don't have enough technology, yet, to see enough of how nature works, so that we can see the GREAT BIG PROBLEMS behind the relatively little problems that are visible.
However, it is possible that we would NEVER overcome the big problem of using technology correctly, even if we had all the answers.
