The idea of being stuck in space might sound like the plot of the latest science fiction blockbuster. 

But it has become a reality for Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore - two unlucky astronauts who are potentially stuck on the International Space Station (ISS) until 2025, despite only expecting to be there for eight days.  

Although the views might be out of this world, the ISS is far from the ideal destination for an impromptu eight-month trip.
