'Did Jesus Exist?' A Historian Makes His Case

• http://www.npr.org, by NPR Staff

So, did Jesus really exist? With his new book, Did Jesus Exist? The Historical Argument for Jesus of Nazareth, Bart Ehrman, historian and professor of religious studies at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, wanted to provide solid historical evidence for the existence of Jesus.

"I wanted to approach this question as an historian to see whether that's right or not," Ehrman tells weekends on All Things Considered host Guy Raz.

The answer is straightforward and widely accepted among scholars of all faiths, but Ehrman says there is a large contingent of people claiming that Jesus never did exist. These people are also known as mythicists

The "MegaMillions lotto rigged" article fits right in with this article. Here's how.

With regard to the lottery, computer-generated random numbers are not truly random if they are generated solely by computer algorithms. For generating what statisticians consider to be truly random numbers, they often use something in nature to generate the number for them - like atmospheric "noise" for example.

Even such things as atmospheric noise do not really produce truly random numbers. It is just that the noise produces a far greater variety of signals than computer generated algorithms. Computers and the algorithms would need to be much more powerful and complicated to produce "atmospheric noise" type of close-to-random results.

So, what does this all have to do with the existence of Jesus? Pagan religions, along with evolutionists, have limited views of what the real God must be like. They simply do not use their sense of reason to go far enough with regard to what God is like. Here is what God is like.

God is trillions upon trillions upon trillions of times more complicated and greater than anything we as people can imagine. Our whole Universe, along with the parallel universes, and the dimensions, are simply one GIGANTIC terrarium that God put together for His own purposes and for His own pleasure. And He did it in 6 days. This is why His natural near random is so much greater than our random.

This is why we do not have an understanding of how the life and work of Jesus is the only thing that is "scientifically" powerful enough to raise people from the dead, and give eternal life to all who believe in Him and are on His side, in His quarter, in favor of Him, and against all else that is religion. Eternal life is something that is way too powerful for us to figure out or create on our own.
