Genesis Paradigm

So the irony is that the god of genesis is a space born human being sent along to act as project manager. It appears that there was never a spiritual God as the all knowing master of the universe. I suspect, without close reading, that further insert

The Freedom's Phoenix site is devoted to freedom, news, and politics. Any debate between atheism and theism has to do with all three.

As you peruse the preambles of all the state constitutions (except for one - you find it), and the US constitution as well, you will see that the basis for the government setup in the United States is attributed to the God of the Bible.

The Federal Government land area is filled with monuments that point to the Bible and the God that the Bible expounds. Most of the states governmental lands are similarly filled.

The things of God and the things of the Bible lead to freedom. Destroying the preambles, and the constitutions, and the Bible, and our recognition of God, is something that is more political than almost anything else - at least with regard to the United States of America.

Because of all this, the thing that appears to be religion - as secularists would explain religion - is in reality, REALITY, with regard to the operation of our whole nation and government. Any and all news that explains changes, or attempts thereof, being made to the reality of our freedom and its foundations, is something that Freedom's Phoenix is all about.

I'm not sure what the promotion of atheism has to do with your supposed mission of promoting freedom. Perhaps it is Ernest Hancock's and/or Powell Gammill's personal philosophy, and they don't want to pass up an opportunity to spread it.

Or perhaps this site wants to promote a range of philosophies, and articles promoting theistic viewpoints would be equally welcome. Is that the case?

I’ve never heard such dribble. I read the article, but could only take so much of the silliness. Such infantile gibberish couched in technical terms. Somebody went to a lot of trouble to prove their childish science fiction. Sci-fi at its best, blending imagination with scripture excerpts.

I’ll give you two quotes and my response to each.

Quote #1: "The scriptures allow us to pencil in detail."

No, the Scriptures require you to believe God.

2 Peter 3:5-7

5 "For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:

6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:

7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men."

Whoever this "arclein" character is, he/she has woven a cunningly devised fable.

The apostle, Peter, clearly stated his position regarding "cunningly devised fables" in his second epistle:

2 Peter 1:16-2:3

16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

2:3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not."

It’s dangerous to not believe the Word of God and it is dangerous to believe a cunningly devised fable. No one will have to answer to arclein or any story-teller or so-called scientist, but all will have to answer to God.

Romans 14:12 "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

Revelation 20:11-15

11 "And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."

Quote #2: "Biologically modern man arose at least 70,000 years ago..."

No, man was created on the sixth day of Creation, between 120 and 144 hours after the creation of the earth. The earth is just over 6,000 years old. This can be proven from the Bible as it is the ONLY historical record that gives a complete chronological record from creation to the time of Christ and even beyond. I have studied this chronological record in detail.

There is no other historical record that gives unbroken chronological records older than 1,000 years B.C. All other historical records fade as they go further into the past, but the Bible has no such ‘fading". The first six days are given in detail, and one whole book of the Bible (Leviticus) covers events of only one month, often giving day by day details. These events took place in the year 2514 from the creation or in 1532 B.C., if you like B.C. dating.

Another thing that sets the Bible above all other historical records, is that the chronology in the Bible, follows only one lineage, and that is the lineage into which Jesus Christ was miraculously inserted via the virgin birth. (Compare the chronological list of patriarchs in Genesis 5:3-32 with the genealogical record of Luke 3:23-38.) Jesus Christ is the silver lining that runs through the dark clouds of human history.

This is an amazing record!

John 20:31 "But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."

1 John 5:11-13 "And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son."

12 "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life."

13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

John 1:12 "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:"

The questions ever remain, "Where did it all come from? How did it all start? If it was aliens that planted an earth-colony of sorts, what started them? Where did they come from? What is the bottom line about the real, first beginning?"

Everything that we know and understand by observing the Universe, is based on cause and effect, action and reaction. This means that all things exist because of something that existed prior to them. Such understanding suggests that there "probably" is no such thing as "random" in the Universe, and that the idea of "probability" is a thing that really only exists in our minds because we are so weak that we can't understand enough to determine if "random" truly exists or not.

What we DO see is that the Universe acts like a well-oiled machine. Even in the pandemonium of our nuclear bomb explosions, everything is action and reaction. We can't seem to get one "nano" beyond outside of cause and effect - machine action and reaction.

A machine needs a maker. At least, all our experience says this. The machine-maker would need the ability to do a thing that we can't comprehend or conceive of - hold and control true randomness.
