1. William Barr's Connection to Ruby Ridge, Defending FBI Snipers

The Senate Judiciary Committee hearings for Attorney General nominee William Barr have focused heavily on Barr's views on Special Counsel Robert Mueller. But nobody is asking about Barr's legal crusade for blanket immunity for federal agents who killed American citizens.
Barr received a routine questionnaire from the Judiciary Committee asking him to disclose his past work including pro bono activities "serving the disadvantaged." The "disadvantaged" that Barr spent the most time helping was an FBI agent who slayed an Idaho mother holding her baby in 1992. Barr spent two weeks organizing former Attorneys General and others to support "an FBI sniper in defending against criminal charges in connection with the Ruby Ridge incident." Barr also "assisted in framing legal arguments advanced… in the district court and the subsequent appeal to the Ninth Circuit," he told the committee.
That charitable work (for an FBI agent who already had a federally-paid law firm defending him) helped tamp down one of the biggest scandals during Barr's time as Attorney General from 1991 to early 1993. Barr was responsible for both the U.S. Marshals Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation, two federal agencies whose misconduct at Ruby Ridge "helped to weaken the bond of trust that must exist between ordinary Americans and our law enforcement agencies," according to a 1995 Senate Judiciary Committee report.
After Randy Weaver, an outspoken white separatist living on a mountaintop in northern Idaho, was entrapped by an undercover federal agent, U.S. marshals trespassed on Weaver's land and killed his 14-year-old son, Sammy. The following day, FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi killed his wife, Vicki, as she was standing in the cabin doorway. Horiuchi had previously shot Randy Weaver in the back after he stepped out of the cabin. The suspects were never given a warning or a chance to surrender and had taken no action against FBI agents. Weaver survived.

Harris Wofford, a former U.S. senator and long-time Democratic political operative who ran AmeriCorps from 1995 to 2001, died last week at the age of 92. The New York Times hailed Wofford as "America's volunteer in chief" and Clinton administration fixer Paul Begala saluted him as "a pragmatic idealist" who "believed in progress, not perfection." Washington Post columnist Michael Gerson gushed, "Cynicism melted around Wofford as if he were a bonfire in the snow."
Not for me. When Wofford was AmeriCorps boss, I battered his program in Playboy ("The Return of the Hitler Youth?"), American Spectator, and The Washington Times, and later flogged it in the The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. I hammered him for more than an hour in a September 1999 interview that I believe exposed his cluelessness about AmeriCorps and his contempt for anyone who failed to venerate his program. Wofford seemed unable to see past his own trumpeted good intentions.
From the start, AmeriCorps has been a laughingstock and boondoggle. In Buffalo, AmeriCorps members helped run a program giving children $5 for each toy gun they turned in and a certificate "praising their decision not to play with toy guns." In San Diego, AmeriCorps members busied themselves collecting used bras and panties for a homeless shelter. In Indianapolis, Americorps recruits painted a giant mural on the side of a pawnshop.
AmeriCorps thrived politically in part because the media mindlessly echoed its endless ludicrous success claims. President Bill Clinton asserted in 1999 that AmeriCorps members "have taught millions of children to read." The previous year, Wofford boasted to Congress that AmeriCorps had set a goal of "effective education and literacy for every child."

Dear Arizona NVIC Advocacy Team Members,
HB 2162 has been introduced in the Arizona Legislature to COMPLETELY ELIMINATE the personal exemption to vaccines required for school in Arizona. We need you to contact the bill sponsors and your own state Representative and Senator now to oppose this bill.
Because Arizona does not have a separate religious exemption for school, the only option to delay or decline one or more of the vaccines required for school would be a medical exemption if this bill passes.
HB 2162 is amending Section 15-873, of the Arizona Revised Statutes to delete the personal exemption to vaccine mandates. You can see for yourself when you click on the bill text that the entire purpose of the bill is to delete the following from current law: "The parent or guardian of the pupil submits a signed statement to the school administrator stating that the parent or guardian has received information about immunizations provided by the department of health services and understands the risks and benefits of immunizations and the potential risks of nonimmunization and that due to personal beliefs, the parent or guardian does not consent to the immunization of the pupil."
The definition of "pupil" in the exemption section of the law being eliminated (15-871.10 Definitions) is very broad and it means: "…a person who is eligible to receive instruction at a school and includes pre-kindergarten age children receiving either services for children with disabilities or day care on a school campus otherwise exempt from day care rules pursuant to section 36-884."

2. Court Hears Gardasil Science and Moves Forward

On Wednesday, January 9th, science day presentations were introduced in the Jennifer Robi vs. Merck and Kaiser Permanente case in Los Angeles Superior Court. This news should give hope to families around the globe that their children's permanent injuries and suffering caused by the HPV vaccine will finally be acknowledged.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr and other attorneys brought to light the obvious fact that the science relied on by our federal agencies to approve the HPV vaccine was criminally inadequate and that Jennifer's injuries and those of the thousands of others like her could have been prevented. Merck's rebuttal was anemic. The judge ordered both sides to work out a discovery schedule.

3. Top FDA Official Blows Whistle as Agency Approves Drug 10X Worse Than Fentanyl, Funded by DoD

In a massive move to expose the Food and Drug Administration's loyalty to big pharma, a top official from within the agency has come forward with damning claims. The FDA has succumbed to Big Pharma's influence and is approving deadly drugs to benefit their industry backers.
Dr. Raeford Brown, who is chair of the FDA's committee to review various opioid based drugs before approving them, blew the whistle in an interview with the Guardian this week.
Brown told the Guardian that there is a "war" inside the FDA in regard to approving opioids. Brown said the agency has "failed to learn the lessons" of the recent epidemic which now claims tens of thousands of lives each year—around 150 deaths every single day.
Brown's interview comes on the heals of the FDA approving a horrifyingly strong drug that is 1,000 times stronger than morphine and 10 times stronger than the incredibly deadly drug fentanyl.
As TFTP reported in November, the FDA sided with its Anesthetic and Analgesic Advisory Panel, which voted 10-3 to approve Dsuvia, a sublingual tablet form of sufentanil, against the recommendation of its chairman.
Brown, who was one of the "no" votes on the panel, called Dsuvia a "terrible drug" and noted how the entire approval process was manipulated.
Adding to the ominous nature of the recent approval is the fact that Dsuvia's development was partially funded by the Department of Defense. Part of the problem critics of the new drug claim is that it is in pill form which will undoubtedly lead to abuse and black market sales. However, that's exactly why the DoD wants it so they can administer it on the battlefield.
4. Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies Claims to Have a Breakthrough Cancer Cure

Aridor, chairman of the board of AEBi and CEO Dr. Ilan Morad, say the AEBi anti-cancer treatment, which they call MuTaTo (multi-target toxin) is essentially on the scale of a cancer antibiotic – a disruption technology of the highest order. They are using peptides.
MuTaTo is using a combination of several cancer-targeting peptides for each cancer cell at the same time, combined with a strong peptide toxin that would kill cancer cells specifically. By using at least three targeting peptides on the same structure with a strong toxin, AEBi made sure that the treatment will not be affected by mutations. Cancer cells can mutate in such a way that targeted receptors are dropped by the cancer.
Some cancer tumors erect shields which create access problems to large molecules, such as antibodies. MuTaTo acts like an octopus or a piece of spaghetti and can sneak into places where other large molecules cannot reach. Morad said the peptide parts of MuTaTo are very small (12 amino acids long) and lack a rigid structure.
AEBi finished its first exploratory mice experiment, which inhibited human cancer cell growth and had no effect at all on healthy mice cells, in addition to several in-vitro trials. AEBi will soon begin a round of clinical trials which could be completed within a few years and would make the treatment available in specific cases.

NFL Legend Joe Montana Leads $75 Million Investment into Cannabis Company

Last week, former football star Joe Montana announced a massive investment in Caliva, a California-based cannabis business. Montana is among an unspecified number of investors who are putting forward a total of $75 million to help grow the already thriving company.
Montana says he believes in the healing properties of the plant that it is a potential solution for the opiate crisis as well.
Montana said in a statement:
"As an investor and supporter, it is my opinion that Calvia's strong management team will successfully develop and bring to market quality health and wellness products that can provide relief to many people and make a serious impact on opiate use or addiction."

After scrolling through some posts and photos on a social media webpage, I went back to read a few of the comments I'd skipped over. I thought that one post, which was about vaccine choice and why it's important, would surely spark a conversation. The person who'd shared the post offered some personal information with the photo and why they advocate for it now—years ago, their child was negatively affected by a liability-free vaccine. Most of the comments that had been left were sympathetic. Some were in support of vaccine choice, but one person's remarks made me pause:
"I don't think you really mean that the shot caused your child's problems, do you? Because that doesn't happen…does it?"
I believe the commenter was not a troll and was genuinely asking for clarification. Maybe they had never experienced a reaction post-vaccination before. Maybe they hadn't taken time to look beyond what many doctors and what our government says about vaccines (that they are "always and only safe and effective"). Maybe they didn't have children yet and didn't know that the US vaccine program recommends more liability-free vaccines now than ever in the history of the vaccine program. No matter what their vaccine status or stance was, the response they left needed an answer.

After the first Vaxxed movie was released, families offered to go on camera and share their stories. Polly Tommey and the Vaxxed crew offered to record those stories. Thousands of stories told by thousands of families from all across the United States and abroad shared eerily similar reports. The running theme? Their child was developing. So, to that person in the thread on that social media page who asked if a vaccine really could have hurt a child? Yes. It can. The flu shot can. The MMR vaccine cab, the HPV vaccine can, and a host of others can. And it isn't just children being harmed; adults can also be injured. Besides parents and adult vaccine consumers reporting that, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention states that also.
When I still subscribed to all that the vaccine program offered, it was hard for me to believe that something my doctor told me would be good for my son could actually harm him. But then, my son was harmed. Adverse events changed his health and not for the better. Thinking back to what I may have missed, I thought I'd weighed all the options. Sadly, I was only weighing the ones that my son's doctor told me, ones deemed as positive. The ones she didn't tell me about and the ones I could have looked up but didn't, took a toll on his health and also his development.
For those who are currently weighing the pros and cons of vaccines and who want a consumer's review of vaccines, watch that trailer again. Listen to the parents and to the anguish in their voices. Listen to the warning the medical doctors are sharing, too. Know that many more stories were collected. Know that stories are still being told of problems stemming from all liability-free vaccines given today. Mainstream media and medical professionals may not want to share those stories, but that doesn't mean they didn't happen. They benefit from the products they can postively promote and sell. The benefit of listening to a parent of a vaccine-injured child is that you get the truth. It might be a painful truth filled with emotion, but it's a truth nonetheless.
