I am horrified that you have no clue as to where the current term and movement "Christian Nationalism" actually comes from. It is the title of a book published by and promoted on Gab.com. This is one of the largest alternative, free-speech platforms. You are not on Gab, or were not when the book came out. Gab is owned by a staunch Christian who says the New AND Old testaments belong only to Christians, not Jews, and denies the validity of "Judeo-Christian values." (Those values come from the Torah and are heavily promoted by Jews. They were reiterated by Christ.) The primary excitement came from the idea that this nation was founded on Christianity and Christians should speak up publically. Thankfully, that is very much a feature of the current Patriot movements. But the anti-semitism (they say they are not anti-semitic) and arrogance of Gab's version of Christian patriotism alienated many. I like your term "Christian Patriotism."
