Even a quick glance at social media will demonstrate that Americans are hotly divided on the issue of this global pandemic.  In fact, there are a number of issues on which they are vehemently disagreeing with one another, not the least of which has to do with how best to defeat the scourge of COVID-19.

As it stands today, we have only social distancing as a weapon against the virus, and we're hoping that the weeks that we've already been practicing this tactic have translated into a flattening of the curve.

The next evolution in this fight will surely involve a vaccine, but many Americans are wary of veering down the path of mandatory vaccinations.
