The woman had immature eggs taken from her ovaries with a needle

The eggs were matured in the lab before being frozen, a technique called IVM

When she wanted a baby five years later, the eggs were thawed and fertilised

An embryo was transferred to her womb and she became pregnant

Her baby, Jules, was born last July. He is the first baby to be born via IVM

Experts greeted the breakthrough as a major success for cancer survivors
