Prestigious competition has released a list of its winning shots that have been submitted over the past year

Contest saw 320,000 submissions by photographers from over 200 countries and territories around globe

The overall winner was British artist Alys Tomlinson for her series on Christian pilgrimages called 'Ex-Voto'  

These are the stunning winning images of the 2018 Sony World Photography Awards.

The shortlist contains an array of compositions, from gorgeous natural landscapes to harsh human environments.
