Supreme Court: Pennsylvania cops no longer need a warrant to search citizens’ vehicles

The ruling, passed on a 4-2 vote, was made in regard to an appeal from a 2010 vehicle stop in Philadelphia.

This is what you get when govt. "limits" itself. I doubt this would get a majority vote. Even so, a majority could not claim to support warrantless searches and privacy. Either the individual is sovereign or the govt., but you can't have both.
