American Samoa Lawsuit Seeks US Citizenship

• New York Times
A group of five people have filed a federal lawsuit arguing they should be U.S. citizens by virtue of being born in American Samoa, the only U.S. territory that doesn't grant that birthright.

The lawsuit filed this week in Washington, D.C., challenges the constitutionality of federal laws that make those born in American Samoa U.S. nationals but not citizens like those born in other territories.

OMG. There are thousands of people born here in the states that want to do away with this U.S. citizenship hanging around their necks. If those people in Samoa really new what that citizenship does to a person, they would run the other way. --- I read daily the evil actions of this present government and from what I have seen, those of us still living in the states are in for big trouble. Anyone reading articles from freedomsphoenix should have the same feeling. It is not good to be an American!

Grant them citizenship !!  American means American when it is our territory.  My grandson's father is from Samoa - good people work hard and support their families.

Make it a state.
