'Feds radiating Americans'? Mobile X-ray vans hit US streets

• Christian Science Monitor
News that the US is buying custom-made vans packed with something called backscatter X-ray capacity has riled privacy advocates and sparked internet worries about "feds radiating Americans.""This really trips up the creep factor because it's one of those things that you sort of intrinsically think the government shouldn't be doing,"

Considering the invasion of privacy and the radiation exposure (that the Government doesn't consern itself with); find a van? - disable it.

I was coming back across the border from Los Algodones Mexico  3 years ago and along with about 5 othersI was pulled into "secondary".  They then had a van drive back and forth along the line of (empty) vehicles.  I would bet my reputation that this was a beta test of this same equipment.

Customs would not tell us what they were doing and were very secretive. Chances are they were also compartimentalized and they were not told the truth about the equipment.  We were not far away and they did not seem to care about what was in the path where x-rays were likely projected.  For that matter I was probably exposed to scattered radiation.  Thanks Washington DC, I love being part of your Dr. Mengele human experiments!

Did not Alex Jones suggest "feds radiating Americans" as a Google/Startpage search term a few days back?  I am glad to see that it this term has taker the first 10 or so results when ones searches for it.
