I'm sure our knowledgeable readership here knows that Orly Taitz is in no way now, and has in no way ever been, a birther. She was a trojan who went into operation long after Phil Berg, and later others, filed their perfectly legitimate suits. Not only were her suits intentionally hand-crafted to reliably fail in almost every way, they were calculated to infuriate and draw ridicule, and more than once the word contempt was heard from the mouths of judges. The MSM fell obediently into line and showcased her diversionary fiascos while scrupulously burying the well crafted ones. To this date, they suppress the fact that there are several ongoing suits, several contradictory statements from judges, and over $6M spent by Obama to stave off these assaults.

But don't get me wrong. I'm merely saying that Obama could plausibly have been born elsewhere than he claims, and that the possibility remains open until he stops spending millions to block these suits and/or unseals the hundreds of documents pertaining to his past. The caution here, is that the hard-core birthers could be being set up to look really stupid. For instance, BS could be holding his actual birth certificate in reserve, generating this controversy for the sake of pulling off a massive coup by producing it and riding the media vindication. Alex Jones, among many others, have held back on this issue for this reason, although they from time to time pretty much state that he's Kenyan.

Also, the birther issue may be moot. It may not be required to prove that he was ineligible to run. The details of his adoption by his stepfather and his move to Indonesia, it is argued, constitute a repudiation of his citizenship. There is also the general issue that his documents show that he used both names, often not using the Obama name, as some school forms show. Whatever the case, the process should be transparent. If some people want proof, his docs should be on public display. We have to produce our docs on demand or go to jail. The lowliest bureaucrats and enforcers of the land can and will throw us in prison or deny us basic services if WE don't show our birth certificates. THAT is an uncontroversial fact. Either way, how is that in any way fair? Why are his birth documents national security threats? Why are they classified?
