When I was a kid, we used to play with mercury out of the old mercury thermometers. We used to watch the beads of it roll around in our hands. Picking it up with our fingers was next to impossible.

Do you think I am the way I am from mercury poisoning? Actually, I think it's from the DDT sprayed in the nearby farm fields.
