Freedom Forum

Welcome to the Freedom Forum of Freedom's Phoenix!

Freedom reigns here like the days of the old Wild West! We have no corporate or government censors to tell you what you can and cannot say in our public forums. We encourage everyone to keep a civil tongue, but you are free to express your opinions no matter what your perspective is on any subject -- just be prepared for someone else to have an entirely opposite view and tell the world you don't know what you are talking about!

Some entries, which our regular editors consider too vulgar -- according to their standards, may be tagged "Crude or Lewd" so the faint-of-mind folks don't have to view them, but everyone can use the link on the right-hand column to decide for themselves whether to show those entries or not.

Anyone may read the discussions shown in our forum. You will need to sign-up as a member and provide your name and valid email address to be able to add comments and participate in the discussions. There is no cost to join.

Now, join the party and have some real fun!

I have received the Cahill book and what Mr. Brown says is absolutely on the mark. I will do a book report on this subject and will report back here but I recommend anyone who is insterested in our American freedoms to pick up a copy of "Blackwater" and underline what the author has to say about our America under the threat of theocons.

Automatically yes, and we'll fire the local U.S. Attorney just to make sure.

A man who has 12 children should try to live within the realm of ethics or does his being a Republican automatically void that necessity?

So CONgress will end cockfighting. But they won't end the war.

I guess they see no political advantage to prolonging cockfighting. An additional 1,500 dead chickens in intolerable. Another 15,000 maimed chickens too repugnant to be allowed to continue.

But Iraq, well, that is another matter.

Chickens come home to roost for both parties in 2008.

Oh, come on! She never heard anything about it. She has testified before CONgress NOT under oath. I'm sure as your Representatives in government, one of those legiscritters would have asked her when she first heard of a plot to attack the USA. Wouldn't they?

Holy crap. The Iranians hated the Taliban more than they hated the Sunni Iraqis. They considered them barbarians. The Taliban destroyed incredible antiquity that predated Islam, destroying priceless heritage linking man's early culture in the region. They were untrustworthy as a government. Few tears were shed at their departure, though few thought much of the Northern Alliance group we replaced them with (and that we had listed by the State Dept. as a terrorist cell).

If you get a government payout, government may have a REAL right to call you a government employee. It is government employees (or those who say that they are even if they are not) who owe the income tax. Peruse http://www.supremelaw.org/rsrc/alert.htm and look for the definitions of "United States", "Employer", and "Employee." Also, look to see that the 50 states are not among those areas where residents must pay Social Security tax.

Right! If the rest of the 50 DC owned corporations called "states" have voting among their slaves, why can't the State of the District of Columbia?

Citizens ruling the 48 state republics have no such privilege - nor do they want it.

If there is any life on Mars, or evidence that there was any in the past, it came from Earth.

Of what practical use is such knowledge of Mars - one way or the other?

It pays all the technicians that keep the space exploring machines flying.

It also helps to keep naive folks thinking that somebody is finding more evidence of evolution when the overwhelming preponderance of evidence against (and lies in favor of) evolution is so great that the whole idea of evolution is ridiculous.

Whoever thought that they might be able to get a consensus of people's thinking, for marketing purposes, by viewing all the info they send and receive over the Net, must be pulling their hair out. These folks could have made more money playing the stock market.

Start decentralizing an Internet type system before the Net is shut down, using wireless, neighbor to neighbor, FREE networking.

See my link on the news page showing how the VA legislature shot down legislation last year that would have allowed guns on campus for self protection.

"Virginia Tech spokesman Larry Hincker was happy to hear the bill was defeated. "I'm sure the university community is appreciative of the General Assembly's actions because this will help parents, students, faculty and visitors feel safe on our campus."

I havbe no doubt that the free-market of ideas would supply an immediate replacement with Moon based relay stations with Ion cannons to protect them from the evil Empire. Or,... "that's no moon... it's a communication space station!"

The Tribune a libertarian newspaper? Hardly. But they will see the light or go the way of The Arizona Republic (Newspapers are sooooo last century). Flake: No Libertarian,... Keno: Definately no libertarian. Tom Rawles: 'Da man. And thanks to all Tibor does.

I bet they do too! The Internet is far too anonymous, too distributed for big corporate monopolizing, and far to unrestrained for government comfort and repression.

I'm sure XP will be discontinued for sale to the public by the end of 2008. But, I doubt Microsoft will be able to cease sales of licenses to commercial accounts, who are less enamored with Vista's requirements.

Ubuntu is taking market share

The answer is ...

WWAN - cellular direct computer to computer

or better

Wi-Fi direct computer to computer. The equipment is already in all the new computers. All that is needed now is programming and signal strength amplification. Amplifiers are available. If the programming is, all it needs is the advertising.

Of course, then the only thing that COULD stop the "Internet" would be worldwide EMP.

With all the multitudes of evidence that the IRS tax is illegal, including the Constitutions ans the IRS law itself, why do all of our major elected representatives not even hint at eliminating the IRS or the Fed? Can Congress impeach the President and itself and all the judges at the same time?

Wireless would sure make Big Brother's job easier.

Would they seek to legislate the internet out of existence? Or would smaller private entities seek to keep it alive?

Someone sent me this article, and somehow it did not ring true. I googled Dr. Kamerschen's name and in his bio page the very first thing it says is that he DID NOT WRITE THIS. Please chck that out for yourself and if I were you, I would remove it from your web page, if you are interested in presenting the truth.

This, and the whole other line of police brutality, are NOT about police brutality. What it is really about is ...
1. Getting a bunch of unqualified jerks onto the police force ...
2. Who are slapped on the wrist at worst when committing the worst crimes with the deadliest weapons, so that ...
3. The public as a whole will want to disarm the one major force of free warriors in our nation, to ...
4. CLEVERLY INDUCE US TO WANT TO DISARM OURSELVES ...
5. The only way THEY can really DISARM US without cutting off the public who supports them financially through taxes, etc.
