Since January of 2007, the drug war has claimed the lives of approximately 7,500 people which is nearly double the number of United States troops killed in Iraq since 2003. More than 200 American citizens have died in the carnage and not all of them were involved in the drug business as many of the dead were innocent bystanders caught in the cross-fire of drug traffickers.

The Obama administration is in the process of sending reinforcements to the Southwest border in order to contain the unrestrained violence resulting from the Mexican drug cartel wars. Unannounced sources have privately stated that three dozen BATF agents are being deployed near the border. This is like bailing out the Titanic with a tea spoon when one considers that Mexican President Calderon has recently increased the number of Mexican army troops patrolling Juarez, alone, to around 7,000 troops and still there is no end in sight to the drug cartel violence.

Mexico is a nation which is on the fast track towards governmental collapse. Calderon’s regime suffers from serious institutional corruption. That corruption was highlighted when Noe Ramirez Mandujano, Mexico’s top drug enforcement official was caught accepting $450,000 a month from drug traffickers.

In an executive management style reminiscent of how she handled border issues while governor of Arizona, Homeland Security Secretary, Janet Napolitano, stated that she will refuse to militarize the border. Napolitano is too late; the drug cartels have already accomplished the feat.  

So in two separate acts of governmental impotence, Obama sends three dozen agents to confront thousands of heavily armed drug traffickers along a 2000 mile border and Napolitano refuses to recognize that heavily armed narco-terrorists are already among us. In the interim of Obama’s indecisiveness, the Mexican drug cartels have abducted 560 people in Phoenix in the last several months. Whatever happened to protecting America from all enemies both foreign and domestic, Mr. President?

Don’t these events make the Security, Prosperity Partnership of North America (ie the North American Union) seem like such like a grand idea as this version of CANAMEXAMERICA does so very much to enhance our domestic tranquility.

Ask yourself, how long before these narco-terrorists bribe their way into our police and our judiciary? Meanwhile, Ramos and Campeon are still waiting for their full presidential pardon after spending three years in prison for protecting us from these murderous thugs.

When one considers Obama’s backtracking on the Mexican trucking issue and his backpedaling on his campaign promises related to NAFTA, it is clear that this present administration is hell-bent on the globalists’ agenda of “free trade” no matter the risk to the American people.

Was this the change that America voted for last November?
