Iowa Caucus live updates: Trump eyes historic blowout...

• New York Post

After the Democratic caucus four years ago was beset by reporting errors and software malfunctions that delayed the announcement of a winner, the Iowa GOP has vowed that this year will go as smoothly as possible.

Caucus meetings will begin promptly at 7 p.m. local time (8 p.m. ET). Patrick Stewart, a consultant for the Republican Party of Iowa, told reporters Friday that results from the smallest precincts should be available around 30 minutes after that, according to the Des Moines Register.

State party officials tell the Wall Street Journal they expect the pace of results to pick up around 9:30 p.m. ET, with most precincts in between 60 and 90 minutes after that.
