NH secession-referendum hearing Jan 12! Sign wave 8:30a.m.!

• https://forum.shiresociety.com, NH Exit

State Rep. Jason Gerhard has submitted legislation to the House which would let the public vote in what amounts to a referendum on NH independence. His legislation comes up for its first hearing and public comment Jan. 12. According to SurveyUSA, 42% of New Hampshirites already want such a referendum.

What: Sign wave supporting right to vote on independence, public hearing on NH independence referendum.
Who: NHexit and friends…but detractors are welcome!
Where: Legislative Office Building, 33 N. State St., Concord, NH
When: 8:30am Fri. Jan 12 (sign wave outside) followed an hour later by the hearing inside. This hearing and a related secession hearing are likely to take up the whole day.
Why: You tell us. Or better yet…come tell the reps how D.C. has harmed you and how you'd benefit from an end to its rule over NH. Public comment usually starts near the beginning.

This IMHO would be a great precedent. However the morons in their legislature have forgotten that you need a State Militia to enforce such decisions if it comes to that. As far as I know Missouri is the only state that has a functioning state militia at this time.
