How exactly would martial law play out in the United States and what kinds of consequences could the average American expect?  We have heard a lot of claims within the establishment media that such a thing would never happen, yet, there has also been increasing mentions of the potential for "civil war" in the near future.  It seems to me that an attempt at martial law is inevitable as the country further divides along ideological lines.  As red states seek to protect themselves from harm caused by leftist extremists and globalists, there will no doubt come a time when the federal government demands submission by force.
