When photographer Blair Bunting was offered the chance to fly to the edge of space in a military spy plane, he knew it would be an opportunity to capture once-in-a-lifetime footage.

The two-hour trip which took years to organize saw Blair, 41, shoot from a U-2 Dragon Lady - a high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft that has been in service with the US Air Force for almost 70 years.

As well as breathtaking photos - the first commercial-quality images taken from a U-2 - Blair, who lives in Phoenix filmed sensational footage and was able to shoot a second U-2 in another first.
