On Monday August 28th 2023 a group of protesters calling for a return to mandatory masks gathered out front of the BC minister of health's office to demand that mandatory mask mandates return in BC.

Just moments into the demonstration a man holding signs contrary to their beliefs was attacked by two of the masked protesters who tried to destroy his signs and silence his free speech.
