Reports claiming Jamie Foxx has been seen in public are being closely scrutinized after the talented entertainer was sidelined for months battling mystery medical complications.

On Wednesday reports claimed Foxx was alive and well after a photo of him with buddies on a pickleball court surfaced on Instagram.

The singular still image came merely one day after Foxx reportedly sprang to action to save a woman's purse in Chicago, with a short video only capturing him quickly getting back into an SUV.

"This video is pretty wild," reported tabloid TMZ. "It shows Jamie in a chauffeur-driven SUV roll up next to a group of people riding through downtown Chicago on a pedicab. They were all thanking him profusely for returning a purse."

"The man who posted the video says his mother had lost her handbag, and apparently, Jamie found it … and somehow tracked down the group. You clearly see him smiling and hopping back into his ride after handing her the purse."

Just one day prior, Foxx was surreptitiously filmed whacking golf balls at a Top Golf location.
