Perhaps from having observed the tolerance authorities granted protesters throughout 2020 (e.g., police cars and precincts being set afire by protestors deemed, "mostly peaceful"), she may have expected a bit of leeway. That said cop is Black and Ashli was White does, by the standards and logic of 2020, prove that the killing was racist (though I don't buy those standards or that logic).
