The impeachment saga failed to remove President Donald Trump from office – but it did draw attention to Hunter Biden's questionable activities in Ukraine, and it's a scandal Trump is certain to seize upon in his attacks on Biden. Democrats resisted every attempt Republicans made at getting Hunter to testify, and for good reason. The entire impeachment saga was dependent on Democrats burying the lede on why exactly Trump was inquiring about the Bidens' activity in Ukraine.

The Senate Homeland Security Committee launched a probe into Hunter's relationship with Burisma, and Chairman Ron Johnson said earlier this week that they'll be issuing their first subpoena soon. Johnson also said that an interim report on their findings thus far will be released shortly.
