This is the shocking moment a suspect is beaten with a baton, kicked and repeatedly shocked with a Taser by deputies during a traffic stop.

Christopher Butler, 30, was pulled over after reportedly being seen driving 15mph and swerving on Interstate 95 in St. Johns County, Florida, at around 1.15am on December 29.

Authorities said the suspect resisted arrest and attacked deputies but cellphone footage captured by a witness allegedly showed deputies using excessive force to subdue him.

Three St. Johns County Sheriff's Office deputies were placed on paid administrative leave last week after the victim's family came forward with cellphone footage of the incident.

Butler - who was reportedly badly injured - was charged with battery on a law enforcement officer, resisting an officer and probation violation. He was also charged with DUI and remains in jail without bond.
