A video has emerged of a love rat getting caught in the act with someone else - a rival cat. 

Hilarious footage shows a black cat and a Dragon Li, a type of Chinese tabby, cuddling each other. 

The pair are stretched out and have their heads touching as they enjoy a tender moment together. 

However, it is not long before this scene is broken up. 

Just behind the pair is an orange and white cat staring intently at the pair nuzzling each other.

The Dragon Li suddenly notices the orange and white challenger and immediately breaks its position. 

The cat bolts in the opposite direction, leaving the black cat confused as to where its cuddle buddy has gone.
