PBS is America's leading 'non-commercial' television station, relying heavily on donations from individuals and foundations. 

Wealthy Jews in New York are big supporters, and well, they hate Putin's Russia, similar to the way their hometown newspaper does. So it is no surprise that PBS has been at the forefront of spewing the most incredible garbage about Putin and Russia. PBS's liberal audience of do-gooder grannies across the country believe everything the channel says, so it is a great propaganda vehicle. Hence this ridiculous hit job, one of a long line of embarrassments.
