He returned to the Senate a while back after spending weeks at home recovering from an injury sustained by working out. A "freak accident" the media was calling it. A workout incident seems too convenient of a story. I don't know if it's just the conspiracy theorist in me or my inability to believe anything a member of congress says (especially Reid), but I'm willing to wager there's a little more behind this.
