Jesse Ventura breaks silence on defamation lawsuit

Two years ago, former Minnesota governor and pro-wrestler Jesse Ventura filed a defamation lawsuit against a highly decorated Navy Seal. Chris Kyle?s book, ?American Sniper? tells a story of Kyle punching Ventura in the face and knocking him to the ground during a barroom fight. The court battle drew so much attention because libel law doesn?t normally apply to celebrity figures. Things got a little more complicated when the legendary sniper was gunned down by a Marine at a Texas shooting range. Police arrested Eddie Routh and charged him with the murder of Chris Kyle, all while Ventura?s defamation lawsuit continued. You may have heard recently that the 10-member jury ruled that Ventura was defamed and that profits from the defamation were unjustly gained.
