There were around 400 of these Rishis, such as Angiras, Agastya, Vasistha, Vishvamitra, Bhrigu, Brihaspati, Dirghatamas, and at least 27 of them were women, for example Vagambhrini and Dakshina Prajapatya. These Seers carried within them the innate powers to manifest form in this universe from the infinite multitude of potencies within the formless.
