Complaint Requesting Injunction Against Lexington Interfering With Rally

• Oathkeepers

Oath Keepers has filed a Court complaint against the Town of Lexington requesting reinstatement of their permit to Rally on Lexington Battle Green. The permit was pulled by the Selectmen of Lexington, ostensibly because of the danger surrounding the Boston Marathon bombing, yet David Codrea, in his article on examiner.com points out the Lexington Patch claimed the permit was pulled at 3:22PM, 2hrs and 38 minutes before the Selectman's meeting began.

Oath Keepers, led by Stewart Rhodes has announced they will hold an Oath Renewal Ceremony on Lexington Battle Green, as planned. In attendance will be Chuck Baldwin, citizen journalist Mike Vanderboegh, and many veterans, retired police, and concerned citizens.

The Selectmen stated they were concerned for the safety of the Rally attendees, because of the Boston Marathon bombing, yet the Massachusetts Museum of Fine Arts, in Boston, has been giving free tickets to their Museum. They are not concerned with the safety of their visitors, as the result of the Marathon bombing, yet Lexington, some miles away from Boston revokes the Rally permit, which is the only permit revoked.

We encourage everyone who can to attend the Oath Renewal Ceremony and the Rally in West Sprigfield, Mass. This will be an important event of solidarity and solemnity.
