Russell Means: Renegade, Patriot, Freedom Fighter

• by William N. Grigg (Pro Liberate)
Confined to a barren prison camp in Washington, the displaced Paiute Indians were dying. The Interior Department had promised to send rations, but they never arrived. After being exposed to the elements during the winter of 1880, fifty-eight of them had died – including thirty children --  and many more were seriously ill.

If anyone wants to come to San Carlos, AZ - Apache Rez. Call Keith 928 380 4040. My relative is a Franciscan delivering the word to the natives at St. Charles. He has lived there for over a decade. The natives are beginning to accept him. We can stay the night. I am giving my Az tax exemption of $1003 to the St. Charles school (as I have done for the past 4 years - you may be able to give too). It would be a trip you will not forget. The poverty of the POW camp that the white man placed them in because they could not kill them all.
