Alabama nightclub raises eyebrows with ‘Food Stamp Friday’ party

• The Daily Caller

A nightclub in Montgomery, Ala. is raising eyebrows by hosting a “Food Stamp Friday” party on April 6 that seems to glamorize life on the federal government’s food assistance program.

An invitation for the April 6 party obtained by The Daily Caller tells patrons of the Rose Supper Club in North Montgomery that the Friday night cover charge will be just $5 if a “food stamp card” is shown upon arrival.

Well hopefully this will go a long way to get alcohol and drugs classified as nutrition.  Why shouldn't the financially  challenged get to escape reality too? "A chicken in every pot" was the socialist agenda of the 40's. This 2012 for crying out loud. Come on Obama, you and Larry Sinclare shouldn't be the only ones to be allowed to indulge in the back seat of a limo. Join our cry.....a rock in every crack pipe!

First of all, the whole idea is repugnant!  But I did see a little humor in this.  Is this a party one should go to to find a date?  I'm guessing not the best prospects will be represented here.
