Federal officials warn New York City that the Taliban may plan revenge attacks
• http://www.nydailynews.com, By Joseph Straw AND BiThe feds put the NYPD on high alert Thursday for revenge attacks spurred by a deranged American soldier’s massacre of 16 innocent Afghans in the heartland of the Taliban.
The FBI and Department of Homeland Security sent out a bulletin warning cops in New York and elsewhere that the slaughter Sunday could trigger “acts of violence” on U.S. targets.
“The FBI and DHS are concerned that this event could contribute to the radicalization or mobilization of homegrown violent extremists in the homeland,” the bulletin reads.
It said the rampage by a 38-year-old Army sergeant in the volatile Panjwai District “will likely be incorporated into violent extremist propaganda and could contribute to an individual’s radicalization to violence.”
The NYPD said it had received the bulletin and was closely monitoring events in Afghanistan.
“We’re not aware of any specific threat to the city,” said NYPD spokesman Paul Browne, adding that the force’s counterterrorism unit has remained on high alert since the 9/11 attacks.Watch Streaming Broadcast Live:

"The feds put the NYPD on high alert Thursday for revenge attacks." -- Now they, the feds, have the American people right where they wanted them. - Bracing for fear of another attack. - Here are my thoughts. Please add your own. -- The CIA will recruit another Muslim and supply that person/s with the bomb material and a place to trigger the bomb, and just before the person or group do any harm, the CIA goons step in and stop the carnage. -- Now, lets see just where this person will attempt to disguise the bomb. Underwear, shoe, moving van or up the ying yang. -- Then again, maybe this time they need to allow for something to happen to bring the public under control again. It does seem to me that, people are not believing what the government is saying again and something has to happen to corral the masses.
