Tests Make Learning "Boring", Punishes Students and Schools!

You are kidding, right? I mean, there weren’t that many kids in school that really liked to take tests, though there were a few. Let me ask you a serious question: How do you measure success or “have to learn more because the student doesn’t comprehend”? We can’t say “fail”, now can we? How do we measure students, teachers and schools if not by testing to see the comprehension rates? I know there are a lot of people who think No Child Left Behind was an abject failure, but is there NO way to hold schools to higher standards? Are you satisfied with the numbers of our kids who can’t read, can’t do math? Are you one of the few who looks at emails and says, “And he’s a Vice President of a bank and doesn’t know the difference between their and they’re, or bear and bare?” Their about down to the bear minimum of costs for they’re customers?
