2 Comments in Response to Tennessee bill would make following Shariah a felony
Freedom of religion as dictated by the 1st Amendment must be held in the context of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Why? Because the Constitution flows from the spirit of the Declaration. And the 1st Amendment receives its meaning from the Constitution as much as it clarifies, and maybe modifies, the Constitution.
Probably, the meaning of the word "religion" in the 1st Amendment was, religion as it was understood from the Bible. Bible religion was what our nation was founded on... at least as far as religion goes.
Isn't Shariah essentially a religion where force is used by the few strong to overcome and make slaves of the many weak? Doesn't its very nature go against the grain of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the word "religion" as it is used in the 1st Amendment? So, who needs more laws? Simply uphold the ones that are there.
By the way, many of the operations of the Federal Government of late, seem to be Shariah-like already... "force is used by the few strong to overcome and make slaves of the many weak."
What the hell is wrong with you stupid Americans...why is such a thing even on the table...Dumb Asses, all of you.The only good thing about such a law is that 98% or your elected leaders would have their tongue cut out,,and,or,their hands severed.
One could sell tickets to that event ha ha ha
