US losing the propaganda war? Hey, start telling the truth!

I don't know whether to laugh or cry about this one. The head of the Voice of America is complaining that he's being "out-communicated" by Russian TV. Can't we at least produce good propaganda in the US anymore? Whining from the Voice of America: "We can't allow ourselves to be out-communicated by our enemies." How about telling the truth occasionally? It's known to do wonders for ratings. Yes, it is pretty strange that Russia and Iran broadcast news that is far more accurate than Fox and CNN seem to be able to manage, but if the shoe fits...
