Bridge to Nowhere Pork King Sen. Stevens killed in air crash

Dave Dittman, a former aide and longtime family friend of former Sen. Ted Stevens, says Stevens was killed in a plane crash near Dillingham Monday night. Dittman says he received a call overnight Monday that said the former senator was dead. Nine people were on board, including former NASA Chief Sean O'Keefe. Five people were killed in the crash, but other identities were not known, nor are the conditions of the survivors.

I wonder which of the elite families he pissed off. Kind of reminiscent of JFK juniors plunge into the deep blue depths. As an engineer, I know how things are built. Planes are built to be idiot proof. It takes nearly an act of God to bring one down. Unless its done on purpose....

The headline writer needs to grow up. Regardless of the deceased's politics, short of a Joe Stalin you should treat them with some respect if for nothing better than the practical reason of offending people unnecessarily, which you have.

This petty crap is reminiscent of William Buckley trashing Murray Rothbard when Murray died. It was tacky then by him, it's tacky now by you.
