with this being said, can we safely say that the 20,000,000,000.00 that BP has pledged to have in a fund over the course of the next few years just isnt going to come even close to taking care of this amazing bit of unfortunate circumsatance is it? So shouldnt the government itself step in and do what is necessary from the stand point of protecting all of the American people? I mean they took over the Car industry when it failed and then the mortgage industry when it failed, Why then are they not jumping in with both feet and taking over the oil industry also? Answer -- it is much much to dangerous to pur their hands on it and then get them dirty, they want BP to completely fail and then and only then they will swoop in and save the day MAYBE??
