I'm with Chris. Anti-Jewish racism is a big part of this (as opposed to anti-Zionism which is merely rational and certainly not racist). Yet there are soooo many Christian bothers that just impress the heck out of me. I mean REALLY impress the hell out of me, and I'm not Christian per se, just a kindred spirit to them amongst others. What to do?

Btw. Chris Hedges, like Noam Chomsky and several other notables, is NOT a leftist in any ordinary sense of that word. He's a truthist, and a justicist, as far as I can tell. He DESPISES political correctness. I've seen him take foundation idiots to task for their Left-safe BS so many times. Like Noam Chomsky, he's an ally of the libertarian and Libertarian alike. I say this having read some 50 or so articles of his and viewed a dozen lectures and appearances. Believe me, he's an ally. An ally with super-duper Left creds.

Those of us who are tactically minded (yet principled above all) and not just pissed off at this or obsessed with that will recognize our brethren in diverse, unpredictable places. Simply, we know them by their works. We know above all that attacking Obama from the Right INVARIABLE strengthens him. If you want to support Obama, there's no higher gift you can give him than to attack him from the Right.

Hedges speaks truth to power and that goes beyond right and left. I can proved hundreds of pages and dozens of hours of programs in which Hedges scorns political correctness and safe, liberal idiocy. Above all he has excoriated Obama like nobody's business. I mean he has PEELED THE PAINT off of Obama's left cover. Some of the video I've seen of Hedges knocks my socks offf. The guy goes after Obama to such an extent that he calls him a criminal, a corporate slut, a brand name, a murdering stooge. Check this guy out, libertarians. If ever we had a natural ally in a man of Left-honour, we have it in Hedges.
