• Sharlene Holt, Musicians for Freedom
NORML at ASU along with Devil’s Advocate, Students for Liberty, and other groups held a rally on 4/20/10 to reform Arizona marijuana laws. The all-day event included music from Sharlene Holt of Musicians for Freedom along with speakers and stand-up comedy by ASU Comedy Club improvisation group Barren Mind. Other bands that performed: The Human Condition, Property Six, Ayden Fyre, and Jed’s a Millionaire.

Bass player, Doran, and keyboardist, Jerry Ferguson joined Sharlene on stage to perform an all-original set drawing mainly from Sharlene's 2000 release, "What You're Headed For." The scene included Freedom’s Phoenix activists Drew Philips, Jet Lacey, Jim Kaiser, and Alma Sommers. Ernest and Donna Hancock came out earlier in the day to take part of the festivities and hear speakers including attorney, Mark Victor, and candidate for governor, Barry Hess. Ernie interviewed Alan Proctor on his morning edition of Declare Your Independence.
