When I read Atlas Shrugged and Fountainhead, I was like, "Wow, the ideas in these books are great but I wish Ayn Rand wasn't so syrupy-sweet about it."  lol.

 Excellent article! Love is about valuing someone or something. How can you love something that has no value? and yet the state demands we value the valueless.
