Parents Urged To Keep Kids Home If They Have Flu Symptoms

Oxnard, CA-- The Swine flu caused a number of Ventura County school closures in May. Now, with students returning to class, health officials are sending a "social responsibility " message. Ventura County Public Health officials say it is always hard for working parents to stay home with sick kids. However, this year it's a must Health officials will be working with school districts to keep an eye out for sick kids and send them home. One woman in Ventura County died from the swine flu this summer and dozens of local cases were confirmed. .
