I truly hope that the Spanish go ahead with the prosecutions and that politics do not get in the way as they do in the US. The Americans do not have a valid system of justice, it is rife with political favour and unfairness. When the request for extradition comes if the US refuses a legitimate demad then I think the treaties that the US will be breaking should be terminated by the Spanish and perhaps all of the EU as they aren't worth the paper they're written on. Also the next time the US decides to break the laws of another country to kidnap someone off their streets, the other country should break diplomatic relations withthe US and extoll others to do the same. rogue nations should not be allowed to maintain relationships with civilized countries. And as in Italy if the identities of those actually breaking the law is known they should be prosecuted.
