Americans today are self-indulgent and don't make the sacrifices that their parents and grandparents did, and the nation's leaders don't ask people to act for the higher good, U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas said....[nice]
I came across an Ayn Rand quote this morning that says it so much better than I ever could.....
"It only stands to reason that where there's sacrifice, there's someone collecting the sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there is someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice is speaking of slaves and masters, and intends to be the master."

Why don't THEY do some sacrificing, or give us one single reason to participate. This is why the people are on the verge of large-scale demonstrations. They are the ones responsible for tearing the fabric of our society, not us.
If you want a "laugh out loud" funny story about Clarence Thomas, I urge, no I BEG you to read Hunter S. Thompson's "Fear and Loathing in Elko"
