In this video, a Homeland Security agent at an internal suspicionless checkpoint located along I-8 in Southern California, detains & assaults a passenger of a vehicle absent reasonable suspicion for videotaping the encounter & failing to identify him
It appears that the women refused the search and the agent's supervisor refused to allow a drug dog to be used on the vehicle. After the cameraman's ID was checked, he was turned loose without being charged with any crime.
I don't know about you, but I sure feel safer knowing these brave Homeland Security agents are protecting us from men armed with cameras along Interstate highways...
