Far be it from me to excuse the village idiot in the White House for his many embarrassing gaffes, but this was not one of them. True to form, he did not say it well but he was asking where the Iraqi Mandela was because he followed that question by saying that Saddam had killed all the (Iraqi) Mandellas. Read his statement again and it becomes clear as to what he meant.

"I heard somebody say, Where's Mandela?' Well, Mandela's dead because Saddam Hussein killed all the Mandelas,"

I shudder and change the channel every time I see his face on the TV; he should be barred from speaking in public as well as acting in private until the end of his term of office.

Not only has he trashed the Constitution, he has managed to mangle the English language.
