Ernie - Hold on to your shorts. I agree with you that Prop 14 is OK, and is more just than taxpayer funded party primaries. Yes, it lessens the importance of political parties, including the LP. So what! Someone who supports liberty is who I want elected, regardless of any party label.

Sadly, the LNC (the national Libertarian Party steering committee) spent $25,000 to pay for advertising to defeat Prop 14, and to no avail. IMO, it was a complete waste of money. Hopefully the LNC won't throw any more money away on trying to stop top two voting in other states.
